A loud ear splitting screech was given, as the skeleton army engaged in the battle. They weren't the most skilled fighters it was the fact that when you destroyed one, two more would take its place. They were like fleas you couldn't get rid of.

It didn't help that the Komodo dragons where tramping them as well, making more as charged they way through to reached Linden army, using their massive tails and claws to swipe through the front line.

The elite goblin army began forming ranks, their long bows moving to the front of them now. A command was given and volleys after volleys flew toward the both armies of Alexi and Linden.

Simi returned to the goblin army, watching as the skeleton and dragons attacked. Her orders where to only help weaken the army with the support he had sent. Not to engage in the fight herself.

No Aiden hadn't told Trina he would help her in this battle but then again he rarely told her anything, unless she was to ask him directly and even then he wasn't always straight forward with her. His reason for aiding her now where personally, if the one he was seeking wasn't there he would leave her armies to fend for themselves.

He took the chance the komodo presented. Linden, feeling the enchanted greater blessing of strength augmented into his suit of armor, raised his war hammer up behind his head, aiming the spiked counterbalance of the handle under the jaw of first komodo that came at him, before pulling hard and sending the spiked crown hammerhead down towards its head in a hard arc from up above with easily enough force to crumple mythril. Then with his left hand reached behind and pulled one of his bladed shields, bringing its hard bladed edge to the join just above its shoulder blades in the rare case it didn't die from the force of the hammer blow.

"WARRIORS! WE HOLD THEM HERE!

The front line, shouldered their weapons and took after Linden's example, and from their training. Drawing their shields then planted them down and formed a solid line of defence catching the komodo charge against heavy shields and powerful hands holding them back.. barely, only so much a single man could do against such a force, let alone a few dozen of them at this time.... the shields would hold, finest mythril that they were, and they men wouldn't lose their hold of their shields but these Paladin warriors began to slide back, the line curving where it had to compensate instead of reforming and risking solidarity, they kept coming and the line slowly slid backward, forming trenches in the ground breaking it up as their shields dragged backward.

Linden saw this as he fought against one Komodo snapping at him, and didn't think they could hold forever, dispite the permanent Greater Blessing of Might each of them were supposed to be endowed with

"LET PASS THE DRAGON RAIDERS"

Every second paladin then released their shields, in an attempted stun attack at whatever being was engaging him stepped forward either attacking a komodo already engaged from its sides or flanks or defending against the pesky fleas of skeletons walking towards them. They seemingly opened up large holes in their formations, but almost as soon as they opened, riders on fresh war horses, charged through trampling skeletons as they did, the sound of bones snapping loud in the air.

Recovered and rearmed DragonKnights and fresh Airuzan Heavy Lancers led by Jhildanean Riderlords from the northeastern provinces of Airuza charged at the engaged komodos, lances and spears tipped with two feet of sharpened steel were thrust at the attacking and charging komodo dragons, spears aiming for where they thought armor kinks should be, weak spots and where the plates might be missing or where the spear blades could slide under and strike at scales or between scales at the possible softer flesh beneath - and should that fail, some aimed for joints, to bludgeon rather than stab, there were three HLancers or DKnights for every komodo charging at them, but they were pouring out of the holes left by the Paladin in front and were concentrating at the komodos they engaged, the others that were coming were to be dealt with later...

Linden heard the whistling first, then the clangs as arrows began to pelt the head lines of his legion. Some shields raised, but most relied on the heavy full armor plating they bore to deflect the arrows coming. From the angle they came, they would deflect and fall to the ground useless. Armor engineered to withstand a siege and hold a charge, arrows were most dangerous from a horizontal trajectory...

But unfortunately not all wore that armor, so he called an order.

"Xilversai, target those projectiles, and send them back to their senders. Sagitarii marshal your troups and return fire!"

They hastened to do so, the arrows also threatening them in their heavily guarded location in the middle of the legion.. sending strong gusts of wind in bursts, not yet strong enough to send a solid wall of air to defend against them, instead sending them back into the skeleton army... not against the skeletal warriors, no.. but against the komodo riders still rushing up and sending as many as they could manage back into the elite yes.. but still soft fleshed goblin army.

The Airuzan Sagitarii, three Hero-Class archers of Airuza each with a troop of their own counting approximately a hundred - ten fists(10 soldiers) each. spread out behind guard of the main bulk of the army and began to fire arrows into the gusts of air made by the warmagii, the gusts giving their arrows thrice the range they normally would have...

Sentinels picked their targets even from that distance and calculated with precision aiming at the commanders and officers of the army. A group of Bowmasters joined their strengths and began to alternate firing small volleys of arrows in Simi's direction... and the three Arrownoughts in the whole legion unloaded their Repeaters, braced themselves and began to fire fuse-loaded arrows as large as small spears with heads that broke apart into small darts in mid air.

Two of the Xilverasi closer to the front could see the skeletons, and decided to try something... if they froze before they could regenerate, even if the ice broke apart they may not be able to do anything... so they tried it..

Skeleton soldiers that came charging seemed to be hit with a small ball of blue from the sky... first a few, then it began to rain with them, they seemed to fall straight, then attact themselves to the skeletons like magnets... as they hit, they turned into large blocks of ice, thin not quite solid but capturing every part of their bodies in solid ice... those standing still would just freeze, the others running at the Paladin would freeze, hit the shields and shatter into pieces, ((think original mortal kombat, fighter does flying kick @ sub zero and shatters after being frozen - like what happens when you freeze something with liquid nitro)).. the komodo dragons coming at them would smash some of the skeletons for the Airuzans thereby saving them the troubles... some would get hit by the blue rain.. but as they were only made powerful enough to snap freeze the skeletons, it would freeze outer parts of their armor or limbs depending on where they were touched and that part would freeze and have the same effect as the skeletons - shattered when hit.

Linden saw this and barely deflected a just-frozen skeleton that came at him...

"CHARGE!"

The rest of the riders ran through, using their spears to sweep as much as they struck, it was a gamble, they didn't know if it was permanent yet, but it was working for the short term. The skeletons weren't the problem, they could be waded through if need be. Those goblins were in his sights, they defended the citadel gate... and if he could strike there and crush them, he could open up the citadel for a siege or an assault.

The Xilverasi were too far out, else they could have torn those goblins limb from limb long ago... they could only move on, step for step.. the plan was simple : the foot soldiers, paladin, swordsmen, striking with deadly fervor, the riders charging forward, then swinging back to regroup, the archers thinning out the enemies before they charged against them

"FORWARD!"

ooc if theres a problem with the post, lets not throw around the "gm" word. It's very offensive, specially if the person feels they've not done that or doesn't realize it. Ask the person how they were able to do such a move .. I'm sure they won't mind explaining or changing their post

Seeing the annoying kid show up with his army, Aidan smiled. He hadn't figured on having to fight them. Suddenly all moment stopped from his army fighting below. The dragons vanished and skeletons crumbled into dust, leaving swords and shields laying on the battle ground.

Simi waved her arms into the air and a invisible shield covered the entire army, before any harm came to them. A spell was spoken and a bolt hole appeared, the army disappeared within it.

A smirk was on Aidan face as he left the room he was watching from, hands clasp behind his back he strolled down the hall vanishing to the shadows.

Meanwhile!!!! .... Don't you love those

Moonelf City

The rustle of leaves made the elves on uneasy. Most of their warriors had been sent out to the battlefield to help aide Palanestina. Their numbers were still very few despite more elves joining their city, many different elves not all moonelves. But actually warriors.? No. The night was an uneasy one. They knew a large battle had started at dawn and continued still now even as night fell. This giving an advantage to Trina's army, but if Palanestina could hold on until dawn once again they would have the upper hand. The night could be long ..and deadly for their ally, but it was not Palanestina that was in trouble this evening. The long bull horn bellowed into the night air, causing Tylol to jump up from her chair and rush to the banister. A fire! At the cave entrance. How could the battle have come here? And how had the demons found the entrance to the City? She turned to her panicked advisors and gathered her battle bow*

Quickly!! Go and have the bell rang for the people to join at the hidden caves. There they most hide until the all clear is given. Make sure Amara and Celina are taken

Y..Yes my lady!!!

*Tylol hurried from the room and down the maze of leaves and branches into the main city. Orcs and demons had already entered and causing havoc as the horns blew for everyone to wake and get to safety. The guard that were left were fighting bravely but greatly outnumbered. Tylol fired an arrow, hitting an orc right between the eyes and getting the attention of his squard. The five raced for her, yelling and swinging their weapons. Gripping the the bow as a double bladed sword, she spun pass one, slicing him in half, only to bring the blade down between the skull of another, then back up inbetween the legs of the third, spinning and slicing the head off the fourth then stabbing the fifth. Families raced pass her, hiding the for the caves and safety as she cut and shot her way through to help the guard.

Reaching the middle of the city where guard were desperately fighting to hold demons and orcs back so families could ran through. She launched a volley of arrows. She was running low but it would at least help.. at least she thought so until she saw the sea of demons entering the City. What happened? Where had they come from? *

M'lady. We must make our break for it. YOU must make it back to the caves and wait until day fall!

I will not leave you men to die!

*Suddenly the enemy backed off as they had the upper hand, and parted allowing a large male to step forward*

I am V'lar! Demon Commander of Trina's Elite armies. I will give you this chance to surrender the City to her Ladyship! And surrender the stones into her power.

*So, it was the stone again. Trina's powers were failing against the Palanestina armies and allies and so she needed more power. There was no way she could give them to her. She started to step forward before a guard held her back, pushing her towards the exit*

You must survive. Make it to the caves m'lady. We shall hold them and follow.

Death before surrender

*There was a uproar from the guards as they made their last launch and pushed Tylol back. She stumbled a bit, only to pick herself up and see Amara racing forward towards her. What was she doing here! A maid was racing after her, trying to stop her with a look of fright*

Mama!! I bring you more arrows! I came help!

Amara!! Go back!! *Tylol screams at her, but her eyes would go wide when a arrow sailed forward and jammed between the young ones chest. The maid screamed only to fall next. Amara whimpered in pain, tears in her eyes as she looked to Tylol then smiled and began to c rawl towards her, holding the arrows out to her to have*

Here Mama.

Amara....

*The little elf smiled then her eyes closed forever. A gentle smile on her face as her head nestled into Tylol's chest. Tears slipped from her eyes as she stared down at the young girl. The only thing she had left of him, and it had been taken.. taken by Trina and her armies. With a sorrowful cry she held Amara to her and sob, rocking as the few guards that were left surrounded her, despite the odds, determined to protect her. V'Lar walked up and smirked*

Hah Death. This could all be over.. if you simply give me what...

*His words were cut off and he began to choke to the surprise to all around.. all but Tylol, who's eyes began to glow as bright as the moon. She stood, cradling Amara still and turned gleaming eyes to V'Lar*

A'tycewa!

*With one short cry, His head erupted from his shoulders making the Demons and Orcs scramble back in shock and go into a state of confusion. They're undoing, as the leaves and vines began to russle. Tylol raised one hand, body engulf in moonlight*

Walaanmea aniras.

*The vines and limbs encircled, ensured, entrapped and began to rip apart orc and demon bodies. Blood splattered and limbs flew. Panic was overcome by fear and they began to run, the elves remains still as stone as they knew not to move a muscle. Thorny vines ensnared and ripped apart. Branches and limbs snapped and whipped bodies in half. Bodies laid everyone as the creatures fled the City but they were not safe. Tylol walked behind them, cradling Amara to her. A snap of the finger and a head exploded, flick of the wrist and a chest erupted as if a arrow pierced right through until there was none left in the city and only the screeches of those running off could be heard. The leaves rustled in anger, the wind howled for vengence. Still Tylol remained, engulfed in the moonlight, holding the child for some time in silence before turning back to the guards. Slowly she handed Amara to one of them and spoke. Her voice cold and foreign*

Go back to the people. All are to remain in the caves until morning, when I return.

*She waited for no backtalk. She turned, walking to away, further into the City until she reached the three statues holding the stones and stood before them*

Laira irilla anilnal aelamaanirelv tymanyeeyla ane sa. E lairilcc irilela sa maelalva, ilan anira laanilna eo sa eaml ceoa

*The stones began to glow then lift from the statues hand, floating around Tylol before all was engulfed in a bright light that shot into the air and disappeared from sight*

********************Back to the BattleGround*************

The battle continued on but a light was seen coming from MoonElf City that cause Ion to pause and look towards it. His Kingdom too had been under attack by Trina's forces, wanting the Source stone within his secret study. They had been foolish to think the Crusenik still weak. They found out all too quickly how wrong they were.. But had Ion made a mistake by not going to the Moonelves to help instead of coming here? It was too late now. He went in search of Atara, the winds were changing. He could feel it and something.. was about to happen to change this war..

ooc I'll write more later tonight or tomorrow day LOL [/i]

There are battles and there are wars. There are rivals and there are allies. Light and Darkness. Good and Evil. What side shall be the victor and who shall be the loser? One can not always foresee these things. As one could not foresee the battle that was now taking place. For days and nights, the battle shifted and continued, fatigue was setting. The dragons battled during the day and as night fell, the Cruseniks and Moonelves took to the front line as the dragons retreated to rest and heal their wounded.

Atara was not without her wounds. She had been stabbed in the side, but nothing to serious and she was tired. The constant battling was wearing on them all. She did not know how Alexi was doing, she did not know how Linden was doing, how the other armies were faring.

Ion over looked his own army. Before them stood the closed gates of the Citadel. So far they had beaten back Trina's army, but nothing was more dangerous then a cornered demon. Ion moved over to where Atara was standing and looked up at her*

Tell me Dragon Queen. What are you thinking we should do.. continue this fight?

*Atara sighed and stared at the massive gates. There were demons looking out at them from the spaces*

Im not sure. We should bust it down I know, go in and take Trina down for good but, I know there are places in that land that I dont know .. and without Markus here and with Marcia not strong enough, I'm not too keen abo ut doing that. We need a plan.

That we do. Markus is on the way thou

*Atara nodded then turned to look towards the elf encampment. Seeing Tylol there had been a shock and the changes that had taken place. Silently, she nodded to her captain to keep watch then went towards the main tent. She nodded to the guard there then stepped in. Tylol looked up from her chair. Her black hair was now swooping down around her shoulders. She stood and bowed to Atara*

My Queen.

Tylol, I must say I was surprised to see you and your army arrive. Few but always welcomed.

Thank you m'lady. We defended our lands and came here to assist you.

I see.. There's much we have to discuss.

I understand but first m'lady. How is the Princess? I know we wish to end this battle, but it will be hard without her.

Yes, well, unfortunately that just may have to happen. Markus is on the way but I know Trina is more powerful here, then outside the Citadel.

Aye, that she is. Be we are here for you.

*Within said Citadel. A dark storm was brewing. A shadowy figure looked out over the army that was before her home. She was beaten but not defeated. So they dared to stop at her door. She would give them pain, that they would never forget.

OOC: Sorry for my dissapearance... with my family moving to MO and me moving to CO just a few months ago, it's been rough. I am loosing my internet sometime this week, but will be going to the library regularly, so I should be able to keep up again.

IC:

Alexi had been destracted by the General for far too long... in fact, they had been locked in battle for days when he finally slipped into a crowd of his own men and dissapeared. Alexi cursed and spat on the ground, the pain in his body trying to overwhelm him... He turned his horse and charged back toward the Palanestinian lines, hoping that all he cared for were well inside.

His horse lept over the bodies of the dead, and his sword cleaved the skulls of those who dared remain in his way as he finally retreated back past their own lines... He rode hard toward his mother's tent, pulling up only when he had arrived.

He nodded to the guards and stepped in, seeing Tylol with Atara... He pulled his helm off, a small, thin gash running down his cheek as he looked his mother over... His face was pale and blood was still dripping from benieth his chest plate.... the cluprit, a large gash in his side. Remembering himself, he bowed his head low, his voice horse from shouting and all but gone. "Dask..."

There was still so many to bring back to the triage, Avarice finally came to a stop. Only one of her and many injured, even carrying three at a time was becoming tough. It began to wear her down, thoughts drifted within her head. Trying to think of anything that she was capable to shape shift into that could be of greater help in getting the wounded back to the triage. That was what she was asked to do, and that was what she would do. Though wounded herself from having to fight off enemies when getting to the wounded Avarice remained steadfast.

If she thought for to long the wounded would accumulate more. Finally it came to her, her body began to twist become rather malformed. Growing larger in hieght, to accomidate the fact that two more sets of arms grew out from her sides. Six arms, larger form, a freak would do wonders to getting the wounded back quicker. Turning into a giant, ogre, four armed freak. Avarice was no longer pretty to look at instead, she was quite ugly which was of no concern to her. The trek began again, swiping down the foes that would try to prevent her from getting the wounded. Bringing wounded back, eight at a time now. One on each shoulder and grasped in each hand.
