Alexi nodded and moved with his mother, ready to climb into his saddle quickly... His eyes searched the field as the swarm began to charge the field and lifted his voice. "Camelot Armies! Form Up!"

With a sudden flurry of movement, the armies were ranking up behind them. Alexi moved forward with his mother, knowing his men knew what to do. His Generals Lead the men to form up in blocks behind Atara's men, Marching forward behind them.

Alexi looked to Atara. "If things get heated, try and take your men and flank them. The only way we are going to stand a chance is if we can manage to get them surrounded. My outside ranks know to follow your men and assist if you move to flank."

Andomiel, looked to Alexi then Atara... her voice and accent was very like.. Asian Russian..

"I will take my fifty and two WarMagi to the right column, I don't think we can do much..."

Always modest... always underestimating herself.. but then thats what made her a humble yet glorious commander at times

"... but we should be able to keep them out of your hair and distracted.

Airuzans! To Me! I think you heard the enemy General's warcry... let's not disappoint him!"

Linden nodded.. smiling gently not bothering to lift his head...

"I will, Atara... I will be by your side soon..."

He loved that woman.. and he obeyed.. completely, having the man carry him back to her tent, continuing to rest..

Meanwhile, back at the back of the camp, more and more heavily armored behemoths arrived by Gateway, the bulk of the army - workmen and serfs went about extending the camp to accommodate the Airuzan allies - the soldiers however, mostly Paladin, but some Archers and Duelists made their way to the front of the camp, assembling a defensive force slowly as their numbers grew, waiting for each other.

Atara turned to her son, looking at him with love before hugging him. She did not usually display such outright emotion infront of everyone, but she felt a great forboding awaiting her.*

I love you son..

*She turned and raised her right hand*

DRAGONRIDERS! Mount and raise to the sky.

*A roar was given, and Atara turned, spreading her wings and leaping into the air, shifting as she did. There really hadn't been any room on the ground to do so. Soaring over head, she lead the riders forward*

Riders! Flank to the left, ground soliders, hold the center. Force them back, they are killing survivors!

*As they got closer to the enemies arrows began to be fired up at them. Atara dodged then fired her breath weapon down upon, as the riders fired their arrows and their dragons let loose fire. It soon became apparent that fire had no effect on these fighters*

Atara opened her mind to the field: Do not use fire, We're only damaging the field and making it harder for our own troops. Look for weak points and continue to supply support from the air.

*The enemies General positioned himself in the midst of battle. It was obvious he was skill and very experienced as he cut down one foe then another. This was boring, he wanted a strong opponents. He spotted the dragons, their archers taking out his right flank. This couldn't do. He balled his left fist, mumbling a chant then thrust his hand up towards the sky, making it turn an eerie green

Atara faltered in the air. What was going on. Her wings were suddenly too heavy to lift. There came a screech and a scream next to her. Dragons were dropping from the sky as they too couldn't lift their wings. She had no choice she had to land. With a smirk, she landed straight untop of ten men, crushing them before wiping her tail around and knocking a few more down. But then she saw the tall, dark General marching her way with sword in his right hand, and a green glow in his left*

Alexi rode forward with his men, fighting toward the center where the General was.... He choped head after head off of the snake-like creatures, attempting to fight his way closer to the General.

His armies split to back up the main forces, two of his outside companies moving to flank the attacking forces... they were both mounted companies, and moved in quickly to surround the enimy force... Having them surrounded, all of the men began pushing in, trying to trap them... killing those that they could with each swing of their woard.

Alexi had nearly fought his way to the middle when he heard the dragon's shriek above him. He pulled his horse up and moved just in time to keep his mother from landing right on top of him. His eyes began to glow a deep blue as he turned his horse, regrouping close enough to his mother that she could feel him there next to her, but far enough away that her tail would not catch him.

The General's Brethren bled on the field, and that blood dripped from his blade and spalttered his armor as he advanced toward the general. His blue eyes blazed as a blue glow formed about him... Nothing else was more important at this very moment than protecting his family.... Protecting his mother...

Enter High Lady Andomiel Lightbearer, - Hero Rank of the Ensign of the Shield, a worthy Xaverian Paladin and Supreme Commander of the 23rd Airuzan Battle Legion sent to the Realm of Palanestina, under orders from Prince Irving vold Valeria.

Her hair is visible tucked into the back of her armor held down by her winged helm.

Her sword flashes, and clangs as it deflects an enemy weapon, and with a dexterity more suited to Blademasters than paladin, she parries, stabbing him through the jugular and up through the skull... the sword sticks there for a moment the weight of the dead creature weighing down on the sword… another foolish beast, seeing her seemingly incapacitated rushes at her… she pivots, and with the Blessed Strength endowed on all Paladin of her Rank, she pulls her sword free of poor fool whose head it has impaled with such force that it comes out the front of the face cleaving it in half… the rushing beast falters… bad mistake… for in that second she slices at his head… she aims too high, missing the neck.. but no matter… it staggers, with only the bottom half of its head visible, the top half, the left eye, half the nose, and everything above.. splattered on the ground next to him.

“GIVE THEM HELL BOYS!”

Her battle cry screams out and suddenly many more Paladin like her, younglings and veterans both, make similar work of the enemy, some of the creatures putting up good fights before they fall… others suddenly wondering where their severed arms, or legs or heads had gone…

As for the two warmagii… Carnage… that is the only word that the Xilversai teach their students in battle. It demoralizes, it destroys, it annihilates… Who knows what hysteric madness would come to you if you saw your comrade seemingly suddenly have his arms fly off his body in a splurt of blood and agonized screams and to have his heart literally jump out of his chest and explode in his face...

These two women.. Xilverasi WarMagii that they were… tore holes through the ranks to get to injured men and fallen Dragonriders. When the first rider fell near them, triple rings of eruptions exploded from the riders location, sending the enemy flying away from the epicenter.. to give the dragons enough time to recover before they were replaced by more of the enemy forces..

Meanwhile back at camp.. the last of the Airuzans were arriving and the remaining warmagii were gathering, along with rest of Linden’s DragonKnights.

Having watched the battle from within the Citadel, the mortals amused him with their effects to destroy the Trina army so far. Figuring he had better prove himself to the witch queen, he summound his "smallest" army. Just outside the gates of the citadel 10,000 skeleton soliders appeared, sword and shield in hand the marched forward to join the fight, destroy one and six more would take their place, there was a special way to destroy them so the wouldn't regenated. Behind them more creatures appeared. Komodo dragons (200) 15ft long, covered in enchanted armour, adding more protection to them along with their thick skin. Above them flew their mistress Simi, for she controlled them. And behind them appeared Aidan elite goblin army, but they didn't move forward just yet waiting to see the outcome of the battle of the first two forces that Aidan had sent forward.

OOC: Linden, if your forces can take care of Aiden's army for the time being, Alexi is a little tied up. lol

“Lord General…”

Linden looked up from where he was sitting, watching the Airuzan Legion assemble and he replied

“Hmm? “

“You are need of healing…”

“Hmm, I was wondering when one of you would turn up with that offer.. very well, go ahead..”

“Brace yourself, my Lord”

Linden held onto his knees and braced, but his head threw back and he roared out as a piece of shredded metal burst out of his side and the bones of his ribs cracked together and mended with searing heat. This was a darker healers path that he administered to Linden, used for only the hardiest of men… but even so, this may have been a poor choice to one as currently weak as the Champion General… Fire seared his marrow, and blinded his sight… ever so slowly however, the pain receded and with it came renewed strength. He stood after the Warmagi stood back and flexed his arms..

“Hmmm better… now for armor…”

A few men, led by one of Andomiels lieutenants – a young looking man but with the scars of battle and eyes that had seen too much, a man by the name of Leonard – approached him..

“Armor you say? Well we’ve got something for you, when we heard of the troubles here, we remembered the suit you ordered during our last diplomatic visit… we’ve made it to your specifications.. and augmented it beyond what you required. “

Linden looked to them in amusement as the men wheeled in a cart of large crates..

“Hmmm.. you don’t say…?

They busted open the crates and inside them buried amidst cleaned fabric was the suit of armour… lined inside with a ring mail overcoat made of the ever abundant Airuzan mythril, it would cover him from chin to toe in the hardiest, nigh unbreakable metal the northern warrior nations could produce. It was overlapped in huge, wide covering plates of Plate Armor, it was gilded from the edges, gold and red enamel, the main metal was an alloy of Mythril and Bronze, giving it a very light white-bronze tinge, whilst making it strong yet light. On the huge shoulder plates, was engraved a single Wyvern in flight, it was his personal insignia, but it was embossed like a work of art across both shoulders. The whole suit was much like that, gilded and beautiful yet still practical… the chest plate, just above his left breast bore the personal insignia of the Queen ((whatever that is)), a mark of Love and Loyalty, on his cloak that hung from his neck down to his ankles was the emblazoned crest of Palanestina.

The helmet he took from the crates was a winged helm in his personal style, the wings weren’t short or long, just the right size, but the front framed his face with a single nose bar that ran down just past his nose… Linden spoke up as he began to don the armor

“My my… you’re armor smiths have outdone themselves.. pray tell what are this augmentations you speak of?”

“That suit bears a blessing of Strength akin to our Xaverian Paladin, it will not last forever, but it should keep for the next year or so.. it will keep you fast, and not encumber you although it is so bulky in appearance… that in itself should be enough.. the others, I’ll leave you to find out for yourself”

Linden nodded, strapping on the gauntlets just as some of the other men brought some weapons for him..

“And for this battle, a chance for you to you use real weapons…” Leonard laughed in his teasing… whilst taking the weapons from his men and handing them to Linden, two shields.. larger and sharper at the edge than the one’s he had used against Avarice, and a Warhammer, with a spiked crowned flat head. Linden nodded and grinned in approval and with his renewed strength began to martial the forces gathering

In but a few moments later, the Legion began to march, past the forces engrossed in battle, a Legion born and bred in the borderlands fighting the worst possible evil creatures men and angels could imagine, led by the glorified Champion of the nation they dared do battle against. Here was an army not afraid, here was a legion not weak… up in the north, the weak did not survive… and there in the north undead and demonkin were but breakfast to begin a long day. Today was one day amongst many more to come, a day to strike fear in the heart of fearmongers, to strike terror into the hearts of the Shadow in the southlands, to show them the great might and power taht brought desolation to any army that the Shadow in the north dared send against the human nations.

With that steeling their spines and lighting a fire in their souls, they marched to defend their allies... Linden Rathan, his massive new warhammer wielded in his hands, flanked by the mighty Xaverian-souled Paladin of the North, marched to glorious battle against those undead skeletons.

ooc I"m only going to say this once again. The army they are fighting is more of a elite force. It's not so easy to kill them as you guys have done in the pass. So you need to watch your post and not make everything seem so easy for the armies to defeat this new unit. Fire does not work on them. Their armor is different. If you need to, go back and read the post when Trina sent them out.

Alexi was there on the battlefield near her. It was reassuring but she couldn't be distracted. Dragons were in danger when they couldn't take to the air and she knew no magic. She swung around and knocked a snake into the air, crashing into a crowd of snakes

General Delium smirked as he marched forward, the Queen in his sights, and then that General. Obviously he was trying to protect her, well he had no time for him. He moved to the right, disappearing into the crowd. Then fading into dark smoke and disappearing from sight. The smoke began to travel faster towards Atara, whom, seeing it coming began to flap her wings hard, causing a gusting wind. Snakes and man fell infront of her, and the smoke wisped off to the left. Her attention couldn't stay on the smoke thou, as enemies came up behind her.

The smoke appeared again above another dragon and slicing through it's neck, beheading it. It let out a loud bellow catching Atara's attention. Delium smirked then began to run forward again, heading straight for her. There came the howl of a horn in the distance, something else was happening.*

"Enemy reinforcements coming in!!"

*Atara hiss, shifting to her more human form and pulling out a sword from a fallen mans hand*

Unit two. Regroup to the left flank! Take up Crane position"

*Men scurried to do what they were told. Atara turned just in time to see Delium raise his sword and rose her own to block him. She blinked, the man looked human! He pulled back, unlocking their swords then began in a furry of strikes with unbelievable speed. Atara blocked but was getting pushed away from her own lines towards the enemy*

"You die this day Queen"

We shall see about that! *She opened her mouth and blasted him right in the face, sending him flying back* Never understatemate your opponent. I'm not as simple as I look.

"Skeleton army now within range!"

*Atara turned, seeing the skeletons coming into the fray and turned*

Unit Two! Push forward. Unit one. Push back these snakes!

*Just as she finished the sentence, she sensed someone behind her, turning in time to see General Delium lifting his sword to strike her*

((Unit two are the soldiers, unit one are the dragons on Atara's side))

Alexi had begun to run toward Atara when he saw that she was being pushed back toward enimy lines. His intention was to cut back the enimy line to allow her to continue fighting. That was until he saw the sword raise up behind her within striking distance. His blade flashed as he roared, his own blade catching the side of the General's as he threw himself into the blow at full force.

He quickly turned, trying a slight turn of his blade to attempt to disarm Delium... He then turned his blade and moved into a defensive stance. "You will not harm her!"

Alexi's armies continued to follow her order's, more of his reinforcements coming into the fray, adding more than 5,000 men to each of her units. These men were well trained, though for many, it was their first battle...

Shale Icehammer's green eyes looked out over the battle field. He and the Elite guard that usually protected Alexi were ordered to be left behind, though why he could not understand. All he knew was that someone of great value must have been in this tent. He growled a little, unhappy about his position as he moved of to climb a tower. Looking down through a looking glass, he began to try and pick out weaknesses in their forces to relay back to Alexi.

Atara knew she didn't have the time to block herself and stood ready for the initial blow but it didn't come. She'd look to see Alexi there, blocking the hit and instinct surfaced in more then thought. She jumped back and hurried back to their allied line, calling back for Alexi.

General Delium spun, not expecting Alexi to get there so fast or block his attack on the Queen, growling as he glared at the General and managed to keep a hold of his sword, stepping back* Fool!! You're fate is sealed, and now you shall die by MY hands!

*Delium would lounge for Alexi, but pull back at the last second in a fake and swing to the side towards his shoulder in attempt to remove Alexi's arm

Atara turned, watching Delium change his strategy and now go after Alexi. She started for him, only to pause, hearing the blast of a horn and a smile appeared on her face. From the East side came a large army, with Ion Vanguard leading the way.

Ion's eyes glew a bright red as his spear materialized in her hand then solidified. He'd wave his army forward. They were not large but that didn't matter when you were crusnik. It did not help that they had brought along the newly repaired cannons that they had taken from the Talorian wars* FORWARD! To the Queen! Fire the cannons into the rank of the enemy soldiers to break up their ranks. Leave none standing! *Fangs, claws and weapons sored onto the battlefield, sweeping over the demons. The crusnik weapons slicing through the beings with ease, and some feeding from the demons as they passed

The war was taking a turn. The demons were getting slaughtered or pushed back. Ion pulled his spear forward, knocking off the head, then jerking the spear back to shatter the spin, hopefully rendering it to pieces

Within the Citadel Trina watch and narrowed her eyes. How DARE Ion turn against her and help those dragons. Well, it was to be expected really, she had enslaved his people for eons, but it was Marcia whom froze them. Bah it did not matter. She was surprised to see Aidan joining the battle. Still it was not looking good. Yet another force was heading from the West. It could be none other then the Moonelves. With their magic, it would no take long to get rid of the dark army within the front of the Citadel. She stood and prepared herself for battle.
